What are E-rockets?

E-rockets are rockets that are powered by electricity instead of traditional rocket fuels like liquid hydrogen or kerosene.

They use electric motors to generate thrust by accelerating charged particles (ions or electrons) and expelling them out of the back of the rocket.

E-rockets have the potential to be more efficient and environmentally friendly than traditional rockets, but they currently have limited power and range compared to conventional rocket engines.

Research is ongoing to improve the technology and make e-rockets a viable option for space travel in the future.

Electric rockets, also known as ion thrusters, offer several advantages, but they also come with some risks and limitations.

On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first human being to travel into space.

The first woman to travel to space was Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova on June 16, 1963.
